Question: What agency do you teach for?

Answer: PADI, the Professional Association of Dive Instructors

Question:  Does PADI offer good scuba training?

Answer: No. We offer EXCELLENT scuba training!  Read here about PADI

Question::  I want to dive in other parts of the country, and maybe even other

parts of the world.  Will a PADI certification do me any good outside of Florida?

Answer: PADI is the most widely recognized recreational scuba certification

in the world.

Question:  So, I just show up to my classes and when they are finished I am certified?

Answer: No.  When you train with me, you receive your certification card when you have satisfactorily demonstrated mastery of all required skills and knowledge.  Most students that come to class prepared, have a positive attitude, and are prepared to learn have no trouble completing their training and receiving their certification card within the scheduled training sessions.  However, some students require more time.

Question: If I need additional scuba training sessions, how much extra do I need to pay?

Answer: As long as you are trying, and taking your training seriously, I will not charge you for additional training time/sessions that I feel are necessary.  You would only be responsible for additional dive site fees, boat fees, etc..

Question: How much does it cost to learn how to dive?

Answer: Scuba Diving is not a cheap sport but it is more affordable than you may think. Contact me to discuss the courses you are interested in.

Question: How can I verify you are an active, insured PADI Instructor?

Question: Why do I need to be certified to dive?

Answer: Proper training is the key to fun and safe diving.  In addition to that, a person is not able to rent or fill tanks without a certification card.

Question: How long will my training days be?

Answer: It varies, but I try to not let them go longer than about 4 hours whenever possible

Question: Where can a person Scuba Dive?

Answer: Wherever there is water!  People dive in the Gulf, Atlantic, Springs, underwater caves with advanced training, lakes, rivers, flooded quarries, golf course water hazards, and many other environments.  This is also covered in your training
